Our Ireland growth strategy
In line with arvato’s overall strategy to grow our global BPO business, we have a firm commitment to develop our Irish domestic client portfolio.
Private Sector BPO
The global economic downturn has put increased pressure on businesses to maximise competiveness while managing their cost base. This holds especially true in the context of Irish businesses, who have been badly hit by the crisis.
Our business process re-engineering approach is directly aimed at those companies, by variabilising a former fixed cost base and driving efficiency throughout the whole value chain. Outsourcing allows Irish businesses the time and space to re-focus on their core business while leveraging the expertise of arvato to smoothly run their non-core processes. In particular in the case of the financial service sector, where there are unprecedented challenges to bring balance sheets back in order, we find that we can add substantial value.
Public Sector BPO
The Irish economic downturn has put increased pressure on businesses to maximise competitiveness while managing their cost base. Outsourcing allows Irish businesses the time and space to focus on their core business - particularly in the case of the financial services sector, where there are unprecedented challenges to bring balance sheets back in order.
Drawing on our experience in delivering on Public Private Partnership (PPP) contracts in the UK, part of our strategy in Ireland is to focus on public sector outsourcing opportunities. We have an established record of delivering cost savings and value innovations for our clients, which we recognise as a key strength in growing this business in Ireland.
Ireland continues to be an attractive location for inward investment and domestic outsourcing. Ireland’s acknowledged strengths include high-quality IT, financial and customer service skills and a knowledgeable and innovative workforce, to which our energetic and experienced teams are testament.
As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of our finance division in Dublin this year, we are looking forward to seeing continued growth and investment. We continue to develop ties with the local business community and this year we are sponsoring both the Chambers Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awards and Local Government awards.
